Collisions Dashboard

The Collisions Dashboard is a convenient location to track all collisions that occur in your fleet. Zendrive provides a number of tools and data points for each collision, as well as a downloadable report.

Access To the Collisions Dashboard

The Collisions Dashboard is available to the following user personas:

  • Administrator

  • Claims Adjuster

To view the Collision Dashboard:

  1. Login at app.zendrive.com using your Zendrive login credentials.

  2. Open the Collisions tab from the navigation menu in the left to view the Collisions page, as shown below:

As indicated in the screenshot, the collisions page contains the following components:

  1. Date Picker: A selector to pick a start date and end date, to view data within the selected range, as shown in the following screenshot:

  2. Total Collisions: The total number of collisions detected in the given date range.

  3. Collisions Trend: A bar chart that provides a comparision view of the number of collisions per day in the given date range.

  4. Collision Details: A table with all the collisions detected within the given date range. The table contains columns for Driver ID, Location, and Date/Time (Local). You will also see the following details:

    1. Search Bar: A search bar to find collisions by driver or by location.

    2. Collision Details View: An extensive display of data available for a particular collision.

  5. Collision Confidence: The Collision Confidence widget displays collision callback details, including the assigned Confidence Level and callback delay time. Users can select a date range and use the Collision Confidence drop-down to filter collisions based on minimum and maximum confidence thresholds.

View Collision Details

To view the collision details for a collision, click the green arrow next to any collision entry in the Collision Details table.

The Collision Details card contains the following sections:

  1. Trip Map: A map that shows the path of the trip (green line), the raw GPS data (black line), and the trip events (red markers).

  2. Collision Acceleration Impulse graph: A graph charting the g-force 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the collision.

  3. Speed graph: A graph charting the speed of the vehicle at each point on the trip. Hovering over the graph automatically shows the location on the Trip Map, and updates relevant details and vehicle direction.

  4. Collision Details Data: A list of data points about the collision.

  5. Download Collision Report button: Click on the Download Collisions Report button highlighted in the above screenshot. CSV report, containing the following fields, will be downloaded to your local drive. The Collisions Report contains information against all the fields detailed in the Collisions Details Data table, plus the following:

    1. Intermediate callback confidence (For two callback accounts)

    2. Intermediate callback delay (For two callback accounts)

The Collision Details Data contains the following fields:

Field
Description

Date & Time

The date and time of collision in a human readable format.

Direction of Motion

A degree value that indicates which direction the vehicle was moving in when the collision occurred.

Device Type

The type of the device used by the user.

Airbag Deployed

Whether the airbag was deployed at the time of the accident.

Direction of impact

Road Type

A description based on OpenStreetMap road types.

Brake Distance

The distance (in meters) from which deceleration started occurring before the location of the collision event
